Review

aMSN is an open source messenger application that supports several networks. With this single application, you can connect to all your messengers. You can use MSN messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, AIM, and more. The support for the messenger's features is not as great as the original applications. However, having all your friends in one place is certainly comfortable. Applications like these take some getting used to. It is hard to let go of the looks of the original messenger. aMSN features an extensive list of features, though. You get full-speed file transfers, support for webcam, emoticons, winks, tabbed messaging and more. This is a cross-platform application which supports Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, and more. So wherever you go, you can have aMSN there with you. As you would expect, you get conferencing support, time stamps, events, and more. The application comes in more than 40 languages, so your language is more than likely to be there. aMSN is really stable, and if you get used to it, you won't ever want to let go of it.
Advantages
  • Support for several messenger services.
  • Great stability.
  • Webcam support.
Disadvantages
  • It's hard to get used to it.

Faster than MSN but the normal client of IM-History doesn't work on it. I would suggest dexrex if you guys want to log your chats online
